Be careful not to apply too much alcohol so that the liquid is dripping off the cotton swab into the inside portion of the CPU fan.

  • Step 3: Now, for the heat sink surface, use the toothpicks to clean the dust. The toothpicks have ultra-narrow tips that can quickly go into the slits of the heat sink and clean the dust off its slits.
