Procedure# 1: Iqama Holder To Visit Europe From Saudi Arabia

Procedure# 2: Iqama Holder To Visit Europe From Saudi Arabia

This procedure can be tricky, However, If you’re an Iqama holder and your Iqama sponsor is a kapeel then your Kafeel can apply for the Europe or Schengen visa on the Iqama holder’s behalf if the Iqama holder meets the following requirements:

  • Iqama should be valid for at least 6 months.
  • Iqama holders should have a valid passport.
  • Iqama holders should have a return ticket.
  • Iqama holders should have travel insurance.
  • Iqama holders should have enough money to support his/her stay in Europe.

If you meet the above requirements, then your sponsor can apply for the Europe visa on your behalf. Otherwise, you can follow the next procedure.

Procedure# 3: Iqama Holder To Visit Europe From Saudi Arabia

The procedure is easy, once your kapeel visits any of the Schengen countries in Europe and he can make your visa together. That means you can visit Europe with your kapeel. However, this only works if your Iqama is valid for at least six months or above.

But, if you want to go to Europe without your sponsor, you need to have a work visa or residence permit from any of the Schengen countries. Once you have that, you can travel to any of the Schengen countries without a visa for up to 90 days.

There are three different procedures that an Iqama holder can follow in order to visit Europe from Saudi Arabia. The first and most straightforward method is to apply for a Schengen visa from the consulate or embassy of the Schengen country you wish to visit.

The second method is to have your sponsor apply for the Europe visa on your behalf if you meet the requirements. 

And the third method is Iqama holders can visit Europe with their kapeel together or if you have a residence permit (work permit).
