In Saudi Arabia, expatriate residents (Iqama holders) require an exit re-entry visa to leave the kingdom temporarily. The exit re-entry visa enables resident expatriates to exit and re-enter the kingdom for a predefined period.
For example, if you have an exit re-entry visa that is valid for six months, you can leave and re-enter Saudi Arabia up to six times during the six-month period. The exit re-entry visa can be obtained from the Saudi embassy or consulate in your country of residence.
You can check your visa validity either through the Absher or Muqeem KSA portals. The Absher portal is an e-services portal that enables Saudi citizens and residents to access a range of government services online. The Muqeem KSA portal is a web portal that enables expatriate residents in Saudi Arabia to check their visa status and residency information.
